IEEE ComSoc SBC IITR will be organizing two technical talks on 18th April 2019 (Thursday) from 11:00 A.M. in Room No. N-316 (ICT Smart Room). We cordially welcome you all to attend the talk. 

Speaker 1: 11 -12 noon ( 18th April, 2019, Thursday, Room No. N-316 ICT Smart Room, Deptt of ECE, IIT Roorkee )
Dr Prabhu Babu finished his PhD (2012) from Uppsala University,  Sweden. During 2013-2015, he did his post-doctoral research in HKUST, Hong Kong. Currently, he is an assistant professor at IIT Delhi. His research interests include signal processing, machine learning, optimization theory and bioinformatics.

Interaction by Mr. Devashish Arora on “What to expect in R&D/core technical Jobs” and “5G- A way forward” at 12 Noon. Mr. Arora had been Vice-Secretary of IEEE Comsoc chapter earlier and wanted to interact with his juniors as he was in IIT Roorkee. He will be focusing on Research directions taken by Qualcomm towards 5G communication. Moreover, he wanted to share how is the environment and expectations in his technical work.
